Canon MAXIFY MB2360 Reviews– The Canon Maxify MB5360 presents itself as a stylish all-in-one looking printer with a compact footprint and a lot of versatility. You can use USB, Ethernet or Wi-Fi to plug it into your small (or home) desktop, or you can use direct Wi-fi or Cloud services and applications to print from mobile devices and remote locations. The printing technology is inkjet, the recommended output is 1000 pages per month, and the overall efficiency of the printer is quite high.
This is the type of printer that rivals models such as HP Officejet line up desktop inkjet printers, and while it may feel a bit counterintuitive to think of an inkjet like a desktop workgroup printer, models such as the Maxify MB5360 offer a total cost of ownership that should be enjoyable for workloads that are not systematically cumbersome. That said, it has a paper capacity of 500 sheets.
A dull finish ensures that there is only a minimum of plastic in the packaging of the printer, and that the plastic is mainly limited to the tape that keeps the beat bits in place during transport. Compared to other recent printers that we have seen, which have a glossy finish, the waste from the unpacking routine of the barrel was minimal.
Four ink cartridges must be installed (cyan, magenta, yellow and black), each with its own plastic wrap. They are fed one by one in a spring print head. This is a procedure similar to that of the HP Officejet 8620 that we also recently examined, except that the Canon did not have a little light “engine room” to help the installation. The printer accepts the XL versions of these cartridges (PGI-2600XL model name), which cost $50 for each color, and $58 for black. The yield for each color XL is 1500 pages, while for black it’s 2500 pages.
